Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Trubible ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Trubible provides real-time voice translation services. A host speaks into their microphone, and listeners hear AI-powered translations in their chosen language. The Service includes team management, event scheduling, and pay-per-use billing.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Teams and Roles

Team owners are responsible for their team's usage and billing. Team owners and admins can invite members and manage events. The team owner is the billing contact and is responsible for ensuring sufficient balance for translation services.

5. Billing and Payments

• Translation services are billed at $5.00 USD per hour per language, calculated per second of active translation.
• New teams receive a one-time trial of 1 hour (3,600 seconds) of free translation time.
• After the trial, translation requires a positive balance. Add funds via Stripe.
• Usage is deducted from trial time first, then from paid balance.
• Translation sessions will automatically stop if the team balance reaches zero.
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Trubible does not store payment card information.
• Payments are non-refundable except at our sole discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Broadcast content that is hateful, threatening, or promotes violence.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit malware or harmful content.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
• Exceed fair usage limits or abuse the translation API.

7. Translation Accuracy

Trubible uses AI-powered translation which may not be 100% accurate. Translations are provided "as-is" and should not be relied upon for critical, legal, or medical communications. Trubible is not responsible for errors, omissions, or misinterpretations in translations.

8. Intellectual Property

The Trubible platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Trubible. You retain ownership of any content you broadcast through the Service. By using the Service, you grant Trubible a limited license to process your audio for the sole purpose of providing translation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trubible shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Trubible in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any disruption to live events caused by service outages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
